Farmer's Wife 1930s Quilt Sampler - Week 3
Posted by Kelli Ladwig on
I was only able to get to one block this week, but I have to say it was a really fun block. I love the Marti Michel templates. They really give me confidence that I can complete some of the trickier blocks with bias and y-seams.
I am using them for the Farmer's Wife 1920's quilt sampler and I can see definite improvement in my first blocks and my later ones.
I used Architextures by Carolyn Friedlander for Robert Kaufman. I am also using titanium coated Superior needles and Superior MasterPiece thread. They were recommended by a friend for a foundation paper piecing project and I have grown to love them.
