I am constantly working on store samples so I know how the yarns I recommend and sell will work in a project. It is very important to us to have what I call "inventory integrity." In other words, what we carry to sell is what we would buy ourselves.I decided that I needed to take a break from work knitting and make something for myself. Laura Nelkin's latest mystery knitalong project, the Circo Cowl, is launching September 15.

Three Irish Girls is Beckoning!

Three Irish Girls Beckon has hit our shelves and we are in awe! When they called and said they were going to substitute Beckon for Adorn, I was a little skeptical. But, when I got the fiber I was so glad! It is a 2-ply superwash merino with high twist.

Never-Tangle Wool and Self-Knitting Needles

On a scale of 1 to 10 of Harry Potter fandom, this muggle probably ranks around the mid point. I enjoy the movies, but haven't read the books (I know, I know ... ). I recently traveled to Orlando with the fam to vacay at the home of everyone's favorite mouse. Once there, my Potter-fanatic sister convinced her husband and I to spend a day at Harry Potter world. And, I must say, it was pretty Potter-riffic.
