Hollywood Knitting - Cary Grant
Posted by Kelli Ladwig on
Inspired by last week's discussion, I decided to post Cary Grant knitting in "Mr. Lucky." Filmed in 1943 with Laraine Day, Grant plays a gambler wooing a wealthy socialite during the early part of the U.S. involvement in WWII. My favorite line. . ."I dropped me purls!"

Circo Cowl Mystery Knitalong Progress - Clue 4

We had a photo shoot today here at McKnittey. It was a ton of fun, but I did not get much sleep in anticipation of it.
I love all the samples I have knitted for McKnittey, but it was really exciting to see other people in the shawls and scarves. It really gives life and movement to them.

Farmer's Wife 1930s Quilt Sampler - Week 3

I was only able to get to one block this week, but I have to say it was a really fun block. I love the Marti Michel templates. They really give me confidence that I can complete some of the trickier blocks with bias and y-seams.
